  • Social Respite Program

    2nd Monday of Every Month from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.

    Are you currently living with dementia or do you provide care in your home for a loved one with a memory impairment?  This free program offers social companionship, meaningful activities and active engagement in a safe space so care partners have an opportunity to socialize and tend to their own healthcare needs.  Pre-registration is required by called Diana Leiker at (585) 343-6802.

  • ECW/Vestry Retreat Day

    Saturday, June 22, 2019 9:00 to 2:00 pm

    All St. James Vestry members, wardens, treasurers, clerk and ECW Board Members are invited to this retreat day.  It will be in the Parish Hall of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Stafford.

  • Sleep-Away CAmp

    Sunday, August 11 to Wednesday, August 14, 2019

    Sleep Away Camp is the diocesan summer camp for children entering 3rd through 10th grades.

    The camp will be held at Lake Chautauqua Lutheran Camp in Bemus Point. 

    Campers will have the opportunities to canoe, swim, do an adventure rope course, play gaga ball, sing, do arts and crafts, worship, and learn more about God!   

    The cost per camper is $175.  There are scholarships available.

    We are also looking for high school aged youth and young adults that would like to serve as Junior Counselors for the camp, and for men over the age of 21 that would like to serve as Senior Counselors for the camp.

  • WorkShop:  Conflict in the Church:
    Entrusted with the Message of Reconciliation

    Friday August 23, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm

    Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

    Conflict is a normal part of life, even in the church.  Understanding this can help church members realize that they should not be surprised or ashamed when they experience conflict in their faith communities.  What is important is how the conflicts that inevitably arise are dealt with.  This workshop teaches some basic skills that will help participants manage conflicts within the congregation in a healthier manner.

    Registration fee $99 per person, or $59 for members of the Diocese of Western New York, or $25 for members of the Genesee Deanery.

  • Genesee Deanery Conversation

    Sunday, August 25th from 2:00 to 3:30

    This will be a conversation with clergy, lay leaders, and parishioners of the churches in our Deanery that hope to benefit from collaboration, shared fellowship and ministry.  All laity and clergy from the Genesee Deanery are invited.
