James Neider

Senior Warden through Jan. 2018

I am a native of suburban Rochester. After high school I attended the College at Brockport with a B.S. in education. Immediately after graduating I enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1968, serving for two years. I was discharged in 1970 and moved to Batavia.

For the next 30 years I taught elementary school at Alexander. I was also a town justice for 14 years and worked summers in local and county youth employment programs. I have been involved with veterans’ organizations since the 1980’s and have been a volunteer veterans’ advocate since retiring in 2000.

I have been a member of St. James since 1989 and was elected to the vestry in 2015. I live with my wife Mary Ann in Stafford.


Russ Dvoroznak

I have been a building contractor since 1967, and have built an entire new church and parsonage, as well as having remodeled numerous church in the area. I am currently doing repair work at St. James. I have served on the Buildings and Grounds, Finance and Membership Committees, along with serving as an Usher, Element Bearer, and a Greeter. I have served several terms on the vestry, and I am currently Jr. Warden of St. James Church.


Diane Cox

I became Episcopalian in 1980 beginning with my confirmation. Life changed for me, however I found my way back to the church and am a Sunday reader, acolyte, Eucharistic home visitor, waitress during fish fry season and coordinator of the Blessing of the pets, St Francis of Assisi and joined the vestry in 2014.

I am a Registered Nurse and currently am working in oncology infusion. In the past I taught at Genesee Community College. I live in Batavia with my husband Bill, I have two rescue dachshund dogs and two rescue cats; volunteer with a rescue organization for dachshunds in Tennessee, also a dog transporter and foster Mom.

I am looking forward to providing guidance to St James as we move forward.

I have been a member of St. James since 1974. I enjoy singing in the choir and playing in the bell choir . Being a part of our wonderful church community brings joy and peace to me. I am now retired and can more fully participate in church activities. I hope to bring any and all expertise I have acquired up to this point to help make sure we are vital and growing in membership, service and love.

My husband and I have had 4 daughters and are blessed with 10 grandchildren.

I have been a member of St. James for four years. At St. James I usher, greet, acolyte as well as volunteer in the Thrift Shop. My goal as a vestry member is to help St. James thrive in the future.


Bonnie Dvoroznak

I have been an Episcopalian from the age of four, and was baptized and confirmed at St. James. Currently I am serving as a Eucharistic Minister, member of the ECW Board, and the George Rupprecht Fund. Russ and I were married in 2006 and we reside in the Town of Batavia.

Since joining St. James church in 1978, I've belonged to the church choir and the bell choir. I have previously served on the vestry and have chaired several concert fund raisers at St. James. My focus now is on developing and maintaining the St. James gardens.

I am a former associate real estate broker and retired from Notre Dame High School where I taught German. My husband, Wayne, is a life time member of St. James and we have four children and six grandchildren.

I was confirmed at St. James in 1969 and have been married to my wife Joan for 35 years. During my Navy career, we lived away for about 30 years. I have served on the Vestry of three other Episcopal Churches and served as Treasurer of two other churches. Currently, I serve St. James as a singer in the choir, Chair of the Finance Committee, Chair of the Stewardship Committee as well as the Co-Chair of the Mission Committee where parishioners share our wealth with orphans and other vulnerable children and people in Uganda.via the Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation.
